The Lincoln Motor Company’s national philanthropic campaign, Driven to Give, began in 2011 as a way for Lincoln dealers like ours near Middletown DE to interact and give back to their communities. Since its inception, the campaign has raised more than $6.2 million, and $1.5 million of that was from last year alone. The program donates the money it raises to schools and charitable organizations near Lincoln dealerships.
The campaign works by hosting one-day events with local groups that offer test-drives of specific, eligible Lincoln vehicles. For each participant that test drives one of these vehicles, Lincoln will donate $20 to that organization. Each participant can raise up to $40 for their organization by test driving two vehicles. During the Fall session, the 2017 Lincoln Continental will be available to test drive.

You know that Lincoln makes stylish luxury vehicles, but did you know they’re some of the safest on the road as well? The 2017 Lincoln MKZ has recently earned the highest safety award issued by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), the agency’s Top Safety Pick+ award. In order to be considered for this honor, a vehicle must have top ratings in several major safety tests, as well as an available crash prevention system that earns a superior rating.
Modifications to the front end of the 2017 Lincoln MKZ near Newark DE at Carman Lincoln are part of what qualified the MKZ for the award. These updates boosted its performance in the small overlap front test, which investigates how the vehicle performs in a frontal crash where only a small portion of the vehicle’s front end is impacted. In track tests at the IIHS, the MKZ successfully avoided collisions at 12 mph and 25 mph.

Our Lincoln dealer serving Newark DE has some exciting news: the Lincoln Motor Company is taking personalized client services and experience to the next level with the introduction of The Lincoln Way. This multi-faceted initiative has been put in place to offer individualized client care and attention as well as to save our clients’ time.
“Lincoln vehicles are designed and engineered to create a seamless, effortless, engaging experience for the client. The Lincoln Way complements that through outstanding client services,” said Kumar Galhotra, president of The Lincoln Motor Company.
Included in the suite of enhanced client experiences associated with The Lincoln Way is valet pickup and delivery services, which will be put in place with the release of the all-new 2017 Lincoln Continental this Fall. With this service, Lincoln owners will be able to request a valet to take their car in for regularly scheduled maintenance procedures and leave them with a loaner vehicle while it’s being worked on. Their vehicle will be returned in the same manner.
The Lincoln Way is just one of the ways that Lincoln is building a better ownership experience for its customers. The Lincoln Black Label initiative offers Lincoln shoppers near Newark DE personalized shopping experiences with dedicated personnel in the showroom, online, or in locations that are more convenient for the client.
